The Student Council is hosting this year’s “Get Your Pink On!” week on campus for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month during 10/16 – 10/20.
One of the events planned to raise money is a Pink Pumpkin Design Contest. We are asking all groups and clubs on campus to get involved and have their members design a pumpkin using all pink materials.
The pumpkins will be displayed on 10/16-10/19 during lunch waves in McNeil. Students, faculty, parents, and staff can vote for their favorite pumpkin by adding a donation to your designated jar. The pumpkin that raises the most money wins. The group/club that wins gets a pizza party for their group. Proceeds go the American Cancer Society.
The entry fee is $5. The $5 fee includes a pumpkin, but the materials are up to you and the group. If you choose to purchase your own pumpkin, the fee to enter is still $5.
PLEASE RESPOND BY THIS THURSDAY, 10/5 – We will be picking up pumpkins after school so you and your group can have them by Friday, 10/6. The StuCo will be designing one as an example this week. To be fair, we will not be participating in the contest.
