The Sound School Fishing Directed Lab is sponsoring a SAE Surf Fishing Activity this Sunday October 22 to Hamonasset State Park in Madison CT from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. We will meet at Sound School Foote Building Parking lot and take the bus. Learn the skills and art of reading and fishing the Beach with Bait and Lures.

Like carving pumpkins? Like SCUBA Diving? Why not do both! Join the sound school Dive Club Underwater pumpkin carving competition on Saturday October 28th. You must be a certified diver to participate. See Pete Solomon to sign up.
There are about 20 slots available for the NY trip to see Wicked on Nov. 1st. The cost for Sound School students is 65.00 and this includes lunch. The cost for non- Sound School students is $90.00. Any interested junior should see Donna ASAP. Parents and family members are also welcome.
The Greenhouse Management SAE after school will begin on Wednesday November 1st, 2017. This is open to all sound school students aqua or ag. Please take the 274 city bus from The Sound School downtown then transfer to the 224 State Street and get off at Ridge Street. There will be other students to help you! We will meet at 3:15

Quest 2017 is a FREE, one-day conference scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven. Breakfast and lunch are included, and transportation can be arranged. Please see our School Counselor, Ms. Matos, in Anderson 616, to pick up a registration flyer.
Permission slips to attend the National Hispanic College Fair on Friday, October 20th, must be returned to Ms. Matos TODAY. Permission slips will not be accepted on the day of the trip.

This year in beekeeping we will be learning about bees, constructing hives, painting hives, and tending to bees in the spring.
