The FFA leadership group will be helping with the admissions event this morning. They  will need to be in the lobby of the Foote Building at 9:30 in official dress. A final list of participants will be emailed shortly.

 

Students looking to develop teamwork camaraderie and social skills- Sign up for Bridge Building!

You can work as a team to build 7 different scale model bridges(2 at a time) while getting a hands-on study of the history, function ,structural design ,geometry and strength of these bridges. See Paul for short info and sign up in Foote 725 Wednesday and Thursday at 2:30 . Building to begin in January!

Kind is the New Cool. Today kicks off Sound School’s kindness campaign.  If you are looking for a way to get involved, here is how you can help spread kindness: Starting today, the Student Council is selling Candy Cane Care Grams for $1.  Care Grams include two peppermint candy canes and a personalized message.  Care Grams will be sold during H today and G periods through Wednesday and will be delivered this Thursday during G period.  Also, please come by to check out our kindness experience in the McNeil building.  Read messages of kindness, feel free to take one, and then leave a message for someone else to take.  Enjoy our winter experience and SNOW your kindness.  If you have any questions, see a Student Council member or Mrs. Nuzzo.

 

Attention all students, faculty and staff please support The Sound School FFA Leadership Group in our winter fundraiser. We are selling a raffle basket with over a $100 worth of goodies and gift cards! We will be selling raffle tickets all 3 lunch waves and drawing a winner on the 21st! Please stop by and support us!

 

College Before College students who submitted applications for the Gateway program please note the following: *New Students–Will receive a packet in the mail with Banner ID. They will need to call and take the Accuplacer if necessary.  Then they will need to attend registration. Returning Students—Will need to attend Registration. All students should complete a ranked list of classes they are interested in taking and make sure they have the name, times, and CRNs as well for the courses as this will help with registration.**Course availability is subject to change based on  GWCC (paying) student enrollment.**If students have questions about individual classes, transfer of credits, etc. please tell them to hold questions until January. Registration is January 1/11 at Gateway—Room S 211 2:00-4:00. Please stop in to see Caroline in Thomas 507 during G/H period or after school if you have any questions.
