Thursday, March 15, 2018, E-Day:

 

Wilbur Cross softball tryouts will be held on Saturday from 10-1 and Monday from 3-5:30 in the small gym. You must bring a copy of your physical, your glove, and water. See Michelle DeJesus with any questions.

 

Students who signed up for art therapy G periods start today, in the library during G period.

 

Sound school SAGA will have a MANDATORY meeting in the library classroom during G period for students going on the trip for true colors .Remember I belong ,You belong,We belong .

 

 

On Friday, April 13th we will be having our third annual Shake it Up! Day where students and teachers are able to participate in new enrichment activities that fall outside of our regular classes.  If you have a skill you’d like to teach your peers, if you would like to share an aspect of your culture, or if you have a hobby you’d like to display, you can submit a proposal to run a Shake it Up! Day workshop.   Workshops should have an enrichment focus area such as art, history, culture, or volunteer work.  The proposal should outline what the workshop would entail and must be submitted either in writing to Megan in Thomas 416 or by email to megan.koonze@nhps.net by Wednesday, March 21st. If you have any questions, stop by Megan’s room during a G or H period for further details.

 

 

 

There will be a mandatory meeting of the National Spanish Honor Society In Lori Blank’s classroom TODAY during G period. Bring your magazine submission ideas and completed forms, including your submissions for Albricias (all-BREE-cee-ahs). We will vote for officers and confirm committee chairs.

 

 

 

Attention Sound School Students! It is almost time for the Spring Lock-In hosted by the Senior ROV Team! Join us on March 23rd for a fun night of movies, music, and games! Pizza and drinks will be served. There will also be two video game tournaments to participate in with prizes for first place as well as a Magic the Gathering tournament! Tickets are $8 beforehand OR $10 at the door, with an additional $2 fee to enter a tournament, and will be sold during all three lunch waves. Michiphotagraphy will be at the lockin to help you capture the moment with your favorite PJs and sleepover buddies. Only $4!

 

 

Attention students! The Sound School Community Outreach and Opportunity Project is running a sock drive as part of Chapel on the Green’s Foot Care Fair for the Homeless. Community service hours will NOT be provided, however, all students are still encouraged to donate as many socks as they can. The Chapel is mostly in need of new men’s socks, but clean or lightly used wool socks will also do. There will be a box in the main office for collecting. The socks will be delivered to The Chapel on March 29th, so please hurry!
