Attention dive club members! This Wednesday we will be returning to Hillhouse pool for scuba training. All open water and advanced students are expected to attend. Please see or email Pete Solomon if you cannot be there.

 

Attention students interested in the youth@work summer program: your applications are due completed by Thursday March 29th. Please return them to 165 church street 

 

On Thursday SAGA will be having a guest speaker from Yale’s prism that are known to provide a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQ people of color to meet and discuss issues pertaining to their identities and experiences.This will be held in the library classroom. All are welcome remember I belong ,you belong ,we belong .

 

 

Do you like to write poetry or short stories? Do you have a passion for photography and have photos you’d like to share with our community? Do you have any advice for your fellow peers? If so, submit your work to Aliya Cruz to get featured in our Sound School blog! She is accepting drawings, creative writing, photography, advice, pet photos, and more! See Aliya in room 203 during your G or H period for more information!

Attention Seniors that are going to Bermuda: There will be a very important meeting TOMORROW in John Roy’s room G period, please make every effort to attend.

The Hillhouse pool is fixed and everyone is expected to attend this swimming session. Let John or Jeff know if you have a valid excuse and are not able to participate.

 

Roman Photography is back in business. Roman is back for spring time photography. Any digital copy of any types photos costs up to $5.00 or 10 different photos for $20.00 and physical landscapes posters start from $14.00. And portraits starts $20.00

 

Attention Students! The afterschool ROV team will be organizing a Bake Sale Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. They will be selling baked goods such as cake, cookies and fried Oreos from 2:30 to 4:30 afterschool in the Foote Building. 

 

The following students have been approved to run a Shake it Up! Day workshop.  If you are running a workshop, you must stop in to meet with Megan in Thomas 416 sometime this week.  You can stop in during H period, G period, or after school on Tuesday through Thursday.

Attention Sound School students, the Student Council is hosting a town hall on TODAY during G period in the cafeteria. The town hall will be a chance for students to ask questions concerning school safety. Ms. Gratz will be present, and wants to hear your concerns. Let’s talk! 

Attention students! The Sound School Community Outreach and Opportunity Project is running a sock drive as part of Chapel on the Green’s Foot Care Fair for the Homeless. Community service hours will NOT be provided, however, all students are still encouraged to donate as many socks as they can. The Chapel is mostly in need of new men’s socks, but clean or lightly used wool socks will also do. There will be a box in the main office for collecting. The socks will be delivered to The Chapel on March 29th, so please hurry!
