Tuesday, April 24, 2018: C-Day; SAT!!


 Eco Adventure will start this Thursday in Kim’s room. We need to discuss whether or not we will be spending this coming Saturday on a field trip to replace the overnight trip.


Attention all sailors:  Both Sharpie sailors and FJ sailors will be meeting on their regular Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday after school schedule this week. Sharpie sailors meet in Mr. Fuchs room – 425 – in the Thomas building.  FJ sailors meet at the sailing shed.  If you intend on sailing this spring you need to be there or let John Buell or Mr. Fuchs know if you have a conflict.  Rosters will be permanently set by the end of the week.


The field trip originally scheduled for this Wednesday, April 25th where the Marine Resources Directed Laboratory group was to be going to Salmon River State Park, in Colchester, to release our salmon into the river is rescheduled for this Thursday, April 26th due to rain forecasted for Wednesday. We will be leaving the Sound School in the van at approximately 8:15a.m. and returning at approximately 2:00p.m. This event will take the entire school day.  Please let me know if you have any concerns about any of these students missing classes.


Any senior interested in participating in the 2nd annual Color Warz should come to the cafeteria on Thursday during G period. We will decide on a theme and begin planning how to decorate the McNeil building. Let’s Color!


There will be a Bermuda meeting for tomorrow (Wednesday) during flex; room 748. Students who cannot attend should speak to John or Jeff


ATTENTION FRESHMEN!!  We are still waiting for half of you to bring us a 2017 or 2018 physical.  It is a requirement and you MUST do it before you start your sophomore year or you will be excluded from school.



Keen on learning how to code? We want you! Kode With Klossy Summer Camp is a free (yep, free!) two-week summer program for girls 13 – 18 years old. You’ll be in classes of 20 participants learning to build real-life apps with code. If you’re interested in tech, this is an excellent opportunity to create and meet other young women who are, too.



The U.S. Military Academy would like to invite students to participate in the West Point CT Project’s Day Overnight Visit. The Academy would like to formally extend an invitation to students to visit its campus and participate in CT Project’s Day which will be held at West Point May 2-3, 2018.  This is an opportunity for West Point to show students the great work that cadets are doing.
