Thursday, May 31, 2018, A-Day:

 

The Library is CLOSED today. Please do not send any students to the library at all. Those students scheduled there period G or otherwise should report to the Cafeteria instead.

 

This Thursday, May 31 is the LAST day of FFA Fishing. See Jack Walsh to pick up your Fishing Certificate to use toward completing your SAE Credit. Thank you to all who helped make this Spring session work so smoothly.

 

 

Attention all potential Student Council candidates.  There will be a mandatory candidate’s meeting today (Thursday) in Emerson 213 during G period.  All petitions will be verified and we will be going over the do’s and don’ts of campaigning.  Therefore, if you have selected a campaign manager, they should attend as well.  Current student council members are encouraged to attend today’s candidate’s meeting.  We look forward to seeing you there!

 

Attention ALL FFA Leadership Group members if you will be attending the Waterfront Festival on Sunday please come to a mandatory meeting during G period in the cafeteria. Thank you!

 

All who love to sail or want to learn to sail and wish to earn SAE experience doing so, please listen up:
This summer there will be a two week summer sailing program.  Participants will learn to sail high performance sailing dinghies known as FJs.  No experience of any kind is necessary.  The program will run for two weeks at Sound School from Monday July 23 to Friday August 3.  Times will be 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. If interested or if you have questions, please see John Buell in Anderson 604 or call ext. 71604.

 

Seniors who are applying for the Alison Varian Memorial Scholarship, your essays are due to Ms. Gratz by TOMORROW. No exceptions. Electronic or paper copies are accepted.

The ROV team will have a bake sale today at the foot building. There will be deep fried Oreos. So stop by for a quick snack before, after, or during your after school program.

 

Capstone Scholarship Awards- Each year the PAC gathers to see students present their capstone projects and awards scholarships for the top presentations. Students should pick up applications from their teachers. Presentations will be made on Saturday, June 9. All applications are due TOMORROW– no exceptions!
