Friday, October 26, 2018, B-Day:

 

Due to the Nor’easter the underwater pumpkin carving event for this weekend has been canceled. See Pete if you have any questions.

 

Attention all current members of the dive club.Next Wednesday, October 31, we will hold a meeting after school for all current members of the dive club. Both fall and spring classes should attend. We will go over the fall classes paperwork, and more information for the spring class. If you have any questions, or cannot attend the meeting, feel free to ask Pete or David Walstedter.

 

Coastal cleanup will take place TODAY from 230 to 530 permission slips are in the main office community service hours are available to those who attend.

As we are fast approaching the end of First Marking Period, we might feel stressed and overloaded with the demands of school work. Join us to take advantage of this week’s group meditation session which will be TODAY, Period G in room 403. Please contact Saras for sign up. Remember to bring a pass, doors close at 10:30am. Come join us for some relaxing time!

 

 

Permission slips to attend the college trips scheduled for November are now available.  Trips include campus visits to Eastern CT State University, Southern CT State University, and UCONN.  These trips are for seniors and are on a first come, first served basis.  See Nilsa in Anderson for a permission slip.

 

 

Students,

The Quest Program is a one-day education summit for Latino/Minority High School students (grades 10-12) that helps students bridge the gap between high school and college. This event will take place on Saturday, November 10th at Southern CT State University.  If you would like to attend,  please see Nilsa in Anderson to register. The registration deadline is TODAY.

 

Picture retakes will be TODAY from 9:00-11:00 in the library. If you have not taken your picture yet you must come have it taken, if you need retakes please bring your original order and the $10 retake fee. If you have any questions please see Katie in Emerson 208.

 

 

All students should bring one work sample from each class to their next Advisement on 10-30-18 in order to complete their Student Led Conference form.  Thank you.

 

 

Any student interested in volunteering at the Soup Kitchen on Wednesday November 7, 2018 from 2:30 – 5:00 or Tuesday November 27, 2018 from 4:30 – 8 should see Pebbles or Paul to sign up

 

 

National FFA’s 2018 SAE Grant application is NOW available. If you are interested in applying for a $1000 grant to support your SAE plan or program please see Pebbles. Applications are due by November 15, 2018
