There will be a drop in info session in Emerson 112 on Thursday December 6, 2018 between 2:30 – 3:00 for any student interested in attending the National FFA Convention October 30 – November 2, 2019. Your dues MUST be paid or a payment arrangement must be made prior to attending.

 

The School store will be open beginning Thursday 11/29 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 – 4:15pm. All merchandise is buy one get one half price. There is also FFA merchandise available

 

Bee club will be meeting on Thursday November 29th in Kevin Daley’s room

 

On Monday December 17 Sound School volunteers will be hosting the Fantasy of Lights at Lighthouse Park in New Haven, if you would like to join us as a volunteer for the evening there is a signup sheet posted in McNeill. There are a limited number of spots and volunteers should report to the entrance of Lighthouse park at 5pm and be picked up at 9pm. Namaste Staff and Students, This week’s Group Meditation session will be on Thursday, Period G in room 403. As per students’ suggestion, we are open to WALK INs from this week. Doors close by 10:30 am. Please be there on time. 

 

Good morning, citizens of Sound School. Just a reminder that Randy has nomination forms in Student Services so please visit him to nominate a Citizen of the Week. This can be any student you have noticed contributing to the positive culture of our school. From holding the door open for others to picking up trash to offering homework help to a struggling student, all of these things and so much more. Stop by to see Randy today!

 

 

 

Do you have a passion? Can you express that passion on paper? Well, the Sound School magazine is looking for you to submit. Please submit your artwork, writing, or whatever you want to the Sound School magazine. The artist with the winning cover names the magazine. Cover art is due by January 4th. Please share your work with melissa.dailey@nhps.net. Please name the document, “Sound Magazine + your name.”

 

 

 

REMINDER: LUNCH POLICY CHANGE:

All students may be outside in designated areas during lunch waves after they have eaten their lunch. No lunch or other food may be consumed outside the McNeil Building. Additionally, students playing basketball must eat lunch prior to going out to play.

 

 

 

The Wilbur Cross High School boys’ basketball team will be holding tryouts on Thursday and Friday. Freshmen will meet at 3PM, and Upperclassmen at 4:30. Interested students must bring a copy of their current physical.

 

Let’s think about how we can help others as the weather gets colder. Donate warm winter coats for children or adults to Melissa in Emerson 107 between now and January 6th. Jordan’s Furniture will have the coats dry cleaned and distributed in New Haven.
