The sound school community service club will be at the soup kitchen December 12, 2018 from 2:30 – 5:00. You MUST sign up outside of Emerson 112 to attend, space is limited to 12 students.

 

The coastal cleanup program will take place friday from 230-530.weather permitting.Dress accordingly

 

 

Juniors If you interested in learning more about the college application process, If you Need time to practice for the SAT. If you Want help developing or refining your college list or Hope to get a handle on the financial aid process for college, Join Julie’s "College Knowledge" after school seminar! We will be meeting in Megan’s room on Tuesdays from 2:45-4:45 PM, starting December 4th. Participation in limited to 20 students, so sign up today in Student Services!

 

 

The Ocean Engineering 2 Class is running a ‘Baked Goods’ Fundraiser in preparation for all of your holiday festivities. Their selection includes pies, tea breads, and cookie dough… all freshly made by Bishop’s Orchards. These baked goods would be a great gift to family or a perfect addition to any holiday meal. Place your order during the lunch waves starting today through December 6th!

 

There will be a drop in info session in Emerson 112 on Thursday December 6, 2018 between 2:30 – 3:00 for any student interested in attending the National FFA Convention October 30 – November 2, 2019. Your dues MUST be paid or a payment arrangement must be made prior to attending.

 

 

The School store will be open beginning TODAY on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 – 4:15pm. All merchandise is buy one get one half price. There is also FFA merchandise available

On Monday December 17 Sound School volunteers will be hosting the Fantasy of Lights at Lighthouse Park in New Haven, if you would like to join us as a volunteer for the evening there is a signup sheet posted in McNeill. There are a limited number of spots and volunteers should report to the entrance of Lighthouse park at 5pm and be picked up at 9pm. Namaste Staff and Students, This week’s Group Meditation session will be TODAY, Period G in room 403. As per students’ suggestion, we are open to WALK INs from this week. Doors close by 10:30 am. Please be there on time. 

 

 

Students who like to express their passion on paper: The Sound School magazine is looking for you to submit. Please submit your artwork, writing, or whatever you want to the Sound School magazine. The artist with the winning cover names the magazine. Cover art is due by January 4th. Please share your work with melissa.dailey@nhps.net. Please name the document, “Sound Magazine + your name.”

 

 

 Let’s think about how we can help others as the weather gets colder. Donate warm winter coats for children or adults to Melissa in Emerson 107 between now and January 6th. Jordan’s Furniture will have the coats dry cleaned and distributed in New Haven.
