The rowing and seamanship directed lab will not meet today.  That’s all rowers, no practice this afternoon.

 

There will be a Bermuda meeting on Wednesday during G Period in John Roy’s room- 748. If you cannot attend please see either John or Pete.

 

Those students interested in playing basketball for the Sound School, there is a signup list in the main office. You must be in good academic standing to participate.

 

Did you want to go to the soup kitchen but did not sign up in time? You can meet us there Wednesday 12.12, please take the city bus from Sound to downtown and walk to 311 temple street

 

Want to attend The National but missed the meeting? Please get and complete an application located on the door of Emerson 112 prior to 12.14 (this Friday)

 

 

Attention sound School Leaders!!! Do you want to work on your leadership skills, public speaking, attend trainings, visit other FFA chapters and serve as ambassadors for your school? The FFA Leadership Group is having a meeting that is open for all students on Thursday, December 13th from 2:30 to 4:30 in the McNeil building! If you’re interested in joining the FFA Leadership Group program, please sign up on the bulletin board outside room 307 in McNeil.

The Aquarium Maintenance Directed Lab will hold its first organizational meeting THURSDAY in the Aquaculture Biology Room 718 Foote at 2:45- 4:15 p.m. Further information or questions see Jack Walsh, room 718 Foote. There are limited spaces available.

The Fly Tying Directed Lab will hold its first organizational meeting TODAY in the Aquaculture Biology Room 718 Foote at 2:45- 4:15 p.m.  All meetings will be on Tuesday’s. Further information or questions see Jack Walsh, room 718 Foote or George Baldwin room 715 Foote.  There are limited spaces available.

Take a leap into the new year! Come see the 2017 movie "Leap!", a beautiful story of two orphans’ journey to Paris to fulfill their lifelong dreams, starring Elle Fanning, Nat Wolff, Maddie Ziegler, and Carly Rae Jepsen, on Friday, January 4th after-school! For those who are interested, the movie screening will be in Room 715 at the Foote Building from 2:45 to 4:30. Don’t miss an opportunity to discover your greatest passion.

 

Students who like to express their passion on paper: The Sound School magazine is looking for you to submit. Please submit your artwork, writing, or whatever you want to the Sound School magazine. The artist with the winning cover names the magazine. Cover art is due by January 4th. Please share your work with melissa.dailey@nhps.net. Please name the document, “Sound Magazine + your name.”

 

 

 Let’s think about how we can help others as the weather gets colder. Donate warm winter coats for children or adults to Melissa in Emerson 107 between now and January 6th. Jordan’s Furniture will have the coats dry cleaned and distributed in New Haven.
