ANNOUNCEMENTS

Wednesday, April 3, 2019: E-DAY

All members of the National Spanish Honor Society should please come to Anderson 606 at 11:10am – right at the beginning of A period this morning for a photo for the yearbook.

The Sound School Flag & Etiquette Committee will convene during G period TODAY in Mr. Pickett’s room. We will be discussing the flag box and replacing the halyard on the second flagpole, so don’t be tardy; but, do get a pass from Mr. Pickett before.

All Students: The PAC Waterfront Festival T-shirt Design Contest has begun! You have until Tuesday, April 9 to submit your designs. Will yours be the one chosen for this year’s t-shirt? Forms are available in Foote and McNeil.

The After School Program, running out of Megan’s room every Tuesday through Thursday, will have many great activities THIS week:

  • TODAY will have a yoga workshop, a health workshop with Yale students, and a math SAT prep session with Mr. Padro.
  • TTOMORROW will have a health workshop with Yale students, and a math SAT prep session with Mr. Padro.

Those who attend are eligible to participate in upcoming field trips to indoor rock climbing, ropes courses, and amusement parks.

Join us on April 11th from 430-730 at Jordan’s furniture to go climbing, eat pizza and have ice cream all while supporting The Sound Schools trip to The National FFA convention!  Please pre-register for climbing by signing up in the main office and bringing your $25 fee! See you there!

The following students will be representing Sound School at the COLT World Languages Poetry Contest in Vernon, Connecticut today. Please give them feedback if they recite their poem to you.

Students will miss C period, and need to be ready to hop on the NHPS school bus at 1:35pm.
