Friday, April 5, 2019: C-DAY

 

Paula now has more students than the Fish and Wildlife boat can accommodate for the Faulkner Island trip.

Juniors,

On Tuesday, April 9th ,you will participate in SAT School Day.  The test will take place in the Thomas Building.  Please refer to the room assignment list, which is posted in the Thomas and Anderson buildings, for your test room.   

 

Shake it Up! Day is next Friday.  If you have not signed up for workshops yet, make sure to do so by the end of the day today.  The workshops and email link were emailed to everyone’s NHPS gmail account last Monday.

 

The After School Program, running out of Megan’s room every Tuesday through Thursday, will have many great activities next week: 

  • Tuesday will have an environmental education workshop with Cori from the New Haven Land Trust – Julie’s college prep workshop WILL NOT be running this week.
  • Wednesday will have a field trip to City Climb – an indoor rock climbing facility.
  • Thursday will have an environmental education workshop with Cori, and a math session with Mr. Padro.

 

 

April is volunteer month! We have LOTS of volunteer opportunities for you- April 6 Long Warf Nature Preserve Clean up from 9:00 – 11:00, and The Diaper bank in North Haven from 9 – 2 (any time you have available). Habitat for Humanity – on going, sign up online! Want more info – see the bulletin board outside Emerson 112.

 

 

All Students: The PAC Waterfront Festival T-shirt Design Contest has begun! You have until Tuesday, April 9 to submit your designs. Will yours be the one chosen for this year’s t-shirt? Forms are available in Foote and McNeil.

 

Join us on April 11th from 430-730 at Jordan’s furniture to go climbing, eat pizza and have ice cream all while supporting The Sound Schools trip to The National FFA convention!  Please pre-register for climbing by signing up in the main office and bringing your $25 fee! See you there!
