The Alison Varian Memorial Scholarship Fund awards annual scholarships to graduating seniors of The Sound School in New Haven who intend to pursue careers in aquaculture, fisheries or marine science and have expressed a desire to honor Alison’s Legacy. The first scholarship award was presented in June 2018. Due to the successful fundraiser in 2018 we were able to double the amount of scholarship funds awarded in June 2019.
Alison had many friends who supported us last year, We thank you for your support in 2018 and hope you can help us again by donating and joining us on September 7, 2019 at the Guilford Fairgrounds to raise money for Alison’s scholarship fund.
