FRIDAY, September 13, 2019: E-DAY

 

One of our alumni, Captain Justin Smith, will be sailing to the Bahamas at the end of September to deliver support. Jalina Secchiaroli a current 10th grader is collecting items on his behalf here at the Sound School. She will have a box in the Main Office (through September 25) and in the Aquaculture Office (on September 18 at Meet the Teacher Night). Please see the attached flyer – or check them out posted in your buidlings.

 

The Bee Club will meet on Tuesday (9/17) After school in Kevin Daley’s room. Thank you.

 

Students attending The national convention have tickets to our pancake breakfast on 9/22 to support their trip. If you want to attend, or donate the cost of a ticket (and not attend) please ask one of the following:

There is a meeting of the Sound School Flag & Etiquette Committee today (Friday) during G period in Mr. Pickett’s Room in Anderson 612. All are welcome but pick up a pass from Pickett prior to G period and check in with your flex teacher first. We will be discussing the school burgee, the Thomas flagpole, and the anchor garden.  

 

The Fall 2019 FFA Fishing Directed Lab will start this Tuesday, September 17 with a general information, training, and safety meeting after school  in Foote 718 from 2:45-4:15 pm. Fishing will be on either Tuesday or Thursdays. For more information see Jack Walsh or George Baldwin, Foote Building. If you would like to participate, please plan on attending the meeting.

 

There will be a meeting for all Seniors who are interested in the 2020 Bermuda Trip on Tuesday during G period in John Roy’s room- 748. If you cannot make the meeting please speak with John or Pete.

 

 

Lifeguard Classes begin September 19! Open Swim Thursdays 4-7PM, Lecture Fridays 4-6PM, Lifeguard Bootcamp Saturdays 10AM-2PM. Water activities are held at the Hillhouse pool and Lecture at 790 Grand Avenue. Call 203-777-6771 or 203-928-0644 or email kdeclet@ccaoh.org.
