MONDAY, October 7, 2019: E-DAY

 

An admissions counselor from UCONN will be visiting Sound School TODAY at 1:40 pm in the Cafeteria.  Please remember to sign-up in Naviance if you would like to attend this college information session.

 

The Sound School Community Service club will be at The Downtown evening soup kitchen on Tuesday October 8, 2019. Meet in Emerson 112 at 330 for pizza, bring 5$. We leave at 4:45 and return by 7:15. Sign up link is in the electronic version of these announcements.

 

 

Attention Divers! Want to escape the cold this winter? Join the dive club for a week of diving in the Florida Keys! There is an informational meeting for interested students and parents Thursday evening at 5:30 in room 761. See Pete Solomon and the Dive Club Classroom page for more information on the trip. 

 

Are you interested in strengthening your leadership skills and being more involved in your community? The FFA Leadership Group is holding an introductory meeting for new members of all grades during G period TODAY in the library classroom! We hope to see you there!

 

Get started early on your Capstone Project! Explore science in ways that interest YOU! Come to a FFA Science Fair Meeting in room 765 TOMORROW.  

 

 

Hey! Vet Tech is starting up again!!! Where you can learn about all kinds of animals, their biology, how to care for them, and the future of animal care. The first meeting will be Wednesday. If you have any questions please talk to either Katelynn Hanson or Brianna Lane. Permission slips for this program should be picked up from Kim Workinger’s room at Foote and brought signed on the 16th.

 

The Fall Blood Drive is coming up from 8:00am – 1:00pm in the Library. You can register to give blood at 1-800-RED-CROSS, at RedCrossBlood.org, or with Evelyn at the Main Office. Our community needs you! Earn community service hours by donating blood or your time. Come help with the blood drive for an hour starting at 7:30am. Sign ups will be at the Main Office. 

 

 

Get ready to dance! Homecoming is on Friday, October 25th at Amarante’s from 7 to 10pm. The price for the event is $45.00 per person. Please see Melissa in Emerson 107 to purchase tickets by October 17th.
