ANNOUNCEMENTS

THURSDAY, October 31, 2019: A-DAY

If you are interested in competing in an Ocean themed jeopardy style regional competition, an environmentally themed team competition or want to know more about it, stop in McNeil 307 after school on Wednesday and Thursday to see what it’s about. Teams will be preparing and practicing through the Fall for regional competitions and a chance at National competitions in the spring. Practices and meetings will be from 2:30-4:30. Stop by and chat for details if you’re having trouble making the afternoon.

This is an important announcement for the members of the Student Council.  Our first meeting will be TODAY during G period in Kevin Daley’s room.  If you will not be able to make it, please let John Buell or Kevin Daley know.

At the Tabletop Gaming Club they have a wide selection of games to play, running Thursdays from dismissal to 4:30 in Lori Blank’s room in Anderson. This week they will be playing a game about a western bar shootout and another about competing to be the strongest alien animal species on an exotic world. Come in and join the fun TODAY!

Jostens will be in the library on TOMORROW to provide information on rings and get sizes for caps and gowns. All seniors need to stop by and get sized! If you are interested in rings, go and get your information. He will be back during the lunch waves next Thursday to take orders.

The Sound School Community Service Club in cooperation with The Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen is collecting the following items: Canned Green beans, Boxed stuffing, canned cranberry sauce and Turkey, chicken or veggie broth in an effort to help feed 1500 people this thanksgiving. Please bring your items in to your favorite classroom teacher before November 15 so they can win a pizza party!

There will be a meeting for all divers going on the trips to Bonaire and Florida during G-period on Monday. Please see Pete Solomon if you cannot attend.

Anyone interested in taking a free college course in January must see Julie in Student Services on any Tuesday through November 5th. You need to be a junior or senior with good grades and responsible behaviors. Both NEW and RETURNING students must apply, so don’t delay.
