If anyone would like to represent the Sound School and earn community service hours by working the school’s booth at the CMTA Hartford Boat Show at Mohegan Sun, please contact Jack Cardello for more information. Students must be able to provide their own transportation to and from the show. Free passes will be provided for students. Space is limited.
The Sound School Debate Team will be selling hot chocolate and other hot beverages in the morning before school in the McNeil lobby on Thursday and Friday. Drinks will be $1. Proceeds will go to support the team.
The Dive Club will have a meeting TODAY after school in room 761. We will discuss winter SAE opportunities, pool sessions, and upcoming trips. All divers going on the Florida trip MUST attend.
Looking to get in shape this winter? Want to become a stronger swimmer or learn how to snorkel? Join the Dive Club in the pool for our winter SAE session. This SAE is open to ALL sound school students and pool trips will occur Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. If you are interested please attend the upcoming dive club meeting or see Pete Solomon for more information.
Lifeguards needed! The dive club is looking for lifeguards to support our winter swimming SAE. You can earn community service hours or work towards an SAE goal. See Pete Solomon for more information or to sign up!
The Sound School Community Service Club is looking for volunteers for dinner service at The Downtown evening soup kitchen on 1/14, 1/28, 2/11 and 2/25 from 5:00 – 7:00PM.
