THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2020: D-DAY

 

Divers: Today’s swimming/snorkeling after school program has been cancelled. We will be back in the pool after school on Tuesday. 

 

There is no SAGA today. Remember to go on to Google classroom to order your sweaters, long or short sleeved shirts through the link. Also always remember that I belong, You belong, We belong 

 

LOST SET OF KEYS: PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT AND SUBMIT TO MAIN OFFICE IF FOUND… the set of keys, there are 2 keys. One silver one and one with a penguin print.  There is a tan, emblem attached to the key ring which says, "1,000 steps, Dutch.

 

Anyone interested in playing baseball this year needs to attend a meeting in the Cross Café tonight at 6:00p.m. 

 

Our fifth annual Shake it Up! Day will be coming in April.  If you have a skill you’d like to teach your peers, if you would like to share an aspect of your culture, or if you have a hobby you’d like to display, you can submit a proposal to run a Shake it Up! Day workshop.   Proposals must be submitted by March 2nd, and workshops should have an enrichment focus area such as art, history, culture, or volunteer work.  See the red information sheets posted around campus for how to submit your Shake it Up! Day workshop proposal.  See Megan in Thomas 416 if you have any questions.

 

 

Freshman rowers please get your Canal Dock Boathouse waivers to DD. Waivers can be dropped off in the box in front of room 728. All rowers should check the lists outside of Neil’s room for practice days.

 

 

Are you interested in volunteer hours? If so then Contact Passion Padilla about volunteering at a non-profit fundraiser on February 9th 2020 at City Climb Gym at  11am. If you just want to come by and donate then you can get more information at www.aesucceed.com

The following students are scheduled to participate in the (Connecticut) COLT State Poetry Contest for World Language in April. Students are reciting famous poems of at least 25 lines in their original language. The bus will depart Sound at lunchtime and return around dinner time. Please be advised that students will miss class and are responsible for any missed work. They should make every effort to complete work ahead of their absence:
