Do you have an interest working with lawyers? Do you need community service hours? The New Haven County Bar Association is looking for volunteers on Thursday, February 20 and Friday February 21st to help with their membership drive. You will be calling attorneys asking them to renew their membership with the association. If you are interested, please call Attorney John Cirello at 203 672-0153

Attention musicians, Kenny’s Music Directed Lab will be meeting TODAY and will not be meeting on Thursday. See Kenny in room 506 if you have any questions.
TODAY, the student council will be having an order form during lunch waves for candy grams and cookies. Cookies will be for three dollars and candy for one dollar. There will also be a paper/form where the person ordering can add a little note to the person they wish to give to the candy gram to. The candy grams will be given out on February 13, 2020.

Our fifth annual Shake it Up! Day will be coming in April. If you have a skill you’d like to teach your peers, if you would like to share an aspect of your culture, or if you have a hobby you’d like to display, you can submit a proposal to run a Shake it Up! Day workshop. Proposals must be submitted by March 2nd, and workshops should have an enrichment focus area such as art, history, culture, or volunteer work. See the red information sheets posted around campus for how to submit your Shake it Up! Day workshop proposal. See Megan in Thomas 416 if you have any questions.
The following students are scheduled to participate in the (Connecticut) COLT State Poetry Contest for World Language in April. Students are reciting famous poems of at least 25 lines in their original language. The bus will depart Sound at lunchtime and return around dinner time. Please be advised that students will miss class and are responsible for any missed work. They should make every effort to complete work ahead of their absence:
