FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2020: C-DAY
The After School Vet Tech Program is doing a Pet Food Drive to benefit the Daniel Cosgrove Animal Shelter and Compassion Club which rescues and places cats in new homes. We will be accepting donations in room 765 between the hours of 7:30 and 8:00 AM beginning on Monday March 2 through Thursday March 5. We will be collecting dog and cat food both canned and dry as well as old towels and toys to enrich the lives of the animals in the shelter.
Nicole Benedetti is hosting a G period meeting focusing on anxiety and different coping mechanisms on Tuesday, March 3, in the library classroom for her capstone. If you have any questions, please reach out to Nicole directly or her advisor Pete Solomon, in room 761 in the Foote building.
Join us next week for ffa week, Monday dress up as your favorite meme day, tuesday dress up as your favorite teacher, staff or administrative day, wednesday dress up like your favorite decade, thursday wear blue and gold or ffa swag and friday wear your favorite flannel clothing.
Any students interested in participating on the Sound School Basketball Team need to complete the online physical form with a parent’s assistance as soon as possible. The link needed can be found on the form provided in the main office. The season is set to begin on March 23.
There will be a meeting for juniors during G period TODAY in the cafeteria to learn about legal rights and responsibilities for drivers.
HAPPY LEAP BIRTHDAY TO EMMA COLONESE AND MELANIE LUNA! Enjoy your day tomorrow!
Our fifth annual Shake it Up! Day will be coming in April. If you have a skill you’d like to teach your peers, if you would like to share an aspect of your culture, or if you have a hobby you’d like to display, you can submit a proposal to run a Shake it Up! Day workshop. Proposals must be submitted by March 2nd, and workshops should have an enrichment focus area such as art, history, culture, or volunteer work. See the red information sheets posted around campus for how to submit your Shake it Up! Day workshop proposal. See Megan in Thomas 416 if you have any questions.
Today’s G period Assignments. Remember no students should be sent to the Library period G:
