Sound School Freshmen and Juniors: The Big Sibling Program is underway! This afternoon (Wed 4/7) there will be a google meet orientation meeting from 2:45 to 3:30. All those who have signed up for the program should attend. We also strongly encourage anyone who is interested to drop in for the introductory meeting even if you have not completed the survey. Check your email for the link to the meeting and a link to the survey if you decide to join the program.



REMINDER FOR ALL STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN THE WORLD LANGUAGES POETRY CONTEST, there will be a Poetry Contest Meeting today at 10:30am. The link is in our Google Classroom. Have your poem onhand, as well as your ChromeBook.


Luz Sanchez Diaz is accepting donations TOMORROW for the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen. She will be accepting Non-perishable foods, Sweatshirts, Sweaters, Blankets, and Sleeping Bags. There will be a box outside McNeil where you can leave them on your way in!

Students who ride the trains to school — Shoreline East and the Metro North line, and arriving at Union Station will be met by a Shuttle to Sound School in the mornings, leaving the station before 7:55 am. There will be a Shuttle to Union Station leaving from Sound School at 2:30 arriving at the Union Station at 2:41. Please be prompt in leaving the train to get the shuttle waiting outside in the mornings, and when arriving at Union Station at the end of school, make sure you get your train in a timely manner.



10th and 11th graders — Are you ready for a challenge? Is there something you would like to study that Sound School doesn’t offer? If so, you should apply to take a FREE college class at Gateway, Southern, or Yale, through the Independent Studies Department! Please go to for more information and/or to apply.
